Game Day Live Blog: Louisville vs. Kentucky Wesleyan | Exhibition 2

The Cardinals wrap up exhibition play with a matchup against the Panthers.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Prior to the start of the 2023-24 season on Nov. 6, the Louisville men's basketball program has one more tune up game to play.

After capturing a 91-50 exhibition win against local HBCU Simmons College back on Oct. 18, the Cardinals are set to host their second and final preseason exhibition matchup, welcoming in-state Division II foe Kentucky Wesleyan to the KFC Yum! Center. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. EST, and can be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

Four Cardinals scored in double figures against Simmons, led by a 15-point, five-rebound and three-assist effort from Curtis Williams. Mike James had 13 points and seven boards, Tre White notched 12 points and four rebounds, and J.J. Traynor also had 10 points and six rebounds. 

This will be Louisville's first exhibition matchup with Kentucky Wesleyan since Oct. 30, 2017 when the Cardinals won 101-64. Five Cards scored in double figures, led by 20 from Anas Mahmoud.
