Game Day Live Blog: Louisville vs. Pepperdine | Game 11
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Coming off one of the most embarrassing days in program history, the Louisville men's basketball program will attempt to snap a three-game losing streak in their next time out, hosting Pepperdine in the middle of a three-game home-stand.
Both on and off the court this past Wednesday, Louisville could not get out of their own way. The Cardinals fell to Arkansas State for their first double-digit home loss to a team with a losing record since 1963, and have lost five of their last seven games. Prior to the matchup, there was mass confusion regarding the status of guard Koron Davis, as it was announced by the program that he would transfer, only for Davis to later refute this statement.
As for the Waves, it hasn't been as chaotic for them to start this season, but they haven't exactly been successful either. Four of their five wins are against teams ranked outside the KenPom top-250, and their four games against top-100 competition have all been losses dropped by an average margin of 17.0 points.
