How to Watch Louisville Cardinals vs. North Carolina Tar Heels: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time

The Cardinals hit the road to face the Tar Heels, who are currently the top team in the ACC.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After coming up just short in their most recent outing against NC State, the Louisville men's basketball program is heading back on the road, traveling to Chapel Hill for a showdown with North Carolina.

The Cardinals found themselves trailing by 14 to the Wolfpack with just over two minutes to go, but they very nearly pulled off an impressive comeback. In span of just 1:17, Louisville scored 11 unanswered points to pull within three points of NC State, but it was not enough, as they eventually fell 89-83.

As for the Tar Heels, they are heading into the matchup with Louisville with momentum on their side. After opening up the season at 7-3, including back-to-back losses against UConn and Kentucky, they have fired off a six win game win streak to remain the last undefeated team in ACC play. At No. 7 in the AP Top 25, they are the highest-ranked team in the ACC.

This will be the 27th all-time meeting between Louisville and North Carolina, with the Tar Heels owning a 19-7 advantage in the series. UNC has won the last four showdowns between the two, including a decisive 80-59 decision back on Jan. 14, 2023 in the last matchup. The Cardinals have not won in Chapel Hill since an 83-62 victory on Jan. 12, 2019.
