How to Watch Louisville Cardinals vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After suffering a blowout loss at the hands of North Carolina, the Louisville men's basketball program is staying in the Tar Heel state, making the drive from Chapel Hill to Winston-Salem for a matchup at Wake Forest.
The Cardinals did hang with the Tar Heels for some portion of the second half, but UNC proved to be too much to overcome, with UofL eventually falling 86-70 at the Dean Dome. Louisville is now 1-15 on the road and 3-23 in ACC play under second-year head coach Kenny Payne.
As for the Demon Deacons, year four under Steve Forbes has had plenty of highs and lows. Wake Forest started the season at just 2-3, but then followed that up with nine straight wins, almost all of which came at home. However, they head into their matchup with Louisville having dropped two of their last three games, including an 83-76 loss at NC State.
This will be the 15th all-time meeting between Louisville and Wake Forest, with the Cardinals owning a 9-4 advantage in the series. While UofL is 7-3 since joining the ACC, the Demon Deacons have won the last two in the series, including an 80-72 decision back on Jan. 7, 2023 at the KFC Yum! Center.
