How to Watch Louisville Cardinals vs. Virginia Cavaliers: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time

The Cardinals take on the Cavaliers in their first ACC rematch of the season.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fresh off of putting together a surprisingly competitive outing against Duke, the Louisville men's basketball program will attempt to snap their season-long four-game losing streak against Virginia in what will be their first ACC rematch of the season.

The Cardinals were able to get within three points of the Blue Devils, and it was a two possession for most of the second half until Duke pulled away late to hand Louisville an 83-69 loss. The primary culprit was UofL getting out-rebounded 43-28 and 15-7 on the offensive boards, leading to a 21-11 discrepancy in second chance points.

As for the Cavaliers, it has been up-and-down stretch since their last meeting with Louisville earlier this month. Virginia lost to both NC State and Wake Forest immediately following their win over the Cardinals, but then followed that up with wins over Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and NC State, though they needed overtime in their last time out.

This will be the 29th all-time meeting between Louisville and Virginia, with the Cavaliers owning a 23-5 advantage in the series. Since joining the ACC, Louisville is just 2-18 against Virginia and have dropped the last eight matchups in the series, including a 77-53 loss back on Jan 3. Their last win was an 80-73 decision on Feb. 8, 2020 at the KFC Yum! Center.
