How to Watch Louisville Cardinals vs. Pitt Panthers: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - On the heels of suffering a brutal second half collapse at Boston College, the Louisville men’s basketball program is staying on the road to try and get back in the win column, heading to the Steel City for a rematch at Pitt.
The Cardinals led by eight at halftime against the Eagles, then proceeded to completely fall apart on defense. They allowed Boston College to shoot 60.0 percent from the field in the second half - and 56.7 percent for the game - getting out-scored 50-30 in the during the period to eventually suffer an 89-77 loss.
As for the Panthers, they have been trending in the right direction since their last meeting with Louisville back on Jan 6. While they lost their next two games after capturing an 83-70 road win over the Cardinals, Pitt heads into the rematch having won six of their last seven, including a road upset at No. 21 Virginia in their last time out.
This will be the 32nd all-time meeting between Louisville and Pitt, with the Cardinals owning a 21-10 advantage in the series. However, the Panthers have won the last four matchups between the two teams.
