Watch: Louisville HC Kenny Payne Previews Boston College

The Cardinals head up north to face the Eagles and try and get a winning streak going.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - While the Louisville's men's basketball program's season hasn't exactly gone the way that they want, they appear to be on the verge of turning a corner.

After a stretch where they lost 12 games in a 14-game stretch, the Cardinals have now won two of their last three. While their defense continues to leave some to be desired, their offense and overall late game execution has taken a step forward over the last week plus. In their last time out, they were on the verge of suffering a double-digit home loss to Georgia Tech, but used a 28-7 run to capture a 79-67 win.

If Louisville is to actually get a winning streak going, they'll have to do in on the road. Up next, the Cardinals have a two-game stretch away from the KFC Yum! Center, and will get it started with a matchup at Boston College.

"They're a good team," head coach Kenny Payne said. "They're a well coached team, they're a disciplined team. Everybody knows that when they shoot the ball well, they're gonna play well. They're capable of hurting you in the post, and you got to make a decision if you want to trap and post it down in the block. If you do, you got to know that they got shooters on the perimeter."

Prior to their matchup with the Eagles, Payne took time to meet with the media on the weekly ACC Coaches Conference Call. He discussed the previous game vs. Georgia tech, previewed the upcoming matchup at Boston College, and more.
