LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After concluding their "regular season" back in late May, the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League followed that up with their annual Nike Peach Jam this past weekend. Taking place from July 3-9 at the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta, Ga, it is one of the biggest offseason events in grassroots high school basketball.

Several recruits that the Louisville men's basketball program is after did very well during their week in the Peach State.

Like during the regular season, the Cardinals' lone commit in the Class of 2024, T.J. Robinson, had a good showing for the N.J. Scholars. In five games, the point guard averaged 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. His best performance came against Team Thad, when he had 21 points, seven rebounds and an assist.

Other 2024 targets for the Cardinals had noteworthy performances as well. This included guard Labaron Philon, small forwards Karter Knox and Billy Richmond, plus power forward Jalen Shelley.

A teammate of Robinson's on the N.J. Scholars, Richmond put up 13.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists over five games. Knox averaged 16.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Florida Rebels, Philon posted a stat line of 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for Team Thad, and Shelley added 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per for for Houston Hoops.

A handful of 2025 prospects with Louisville also did very well. Shooting guard Jerry Easter exploded for All Ohio, averaging 22.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists across eight games, including a 44 point performance against Livon. Team Thad point guard Jasper Johnson averaged 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists over five games, and NH Lightning guard Meleek Thomas had 14.4 points, 5.0 rebound and 3.2 assists over a span of five games.

During the Nike EYBL's four stops over their "regular season", Robinson averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. His scoring mark was good for second on the team to Billy Richmond. The 6-foot-4, 160-pound point guard put 21.0 points per game during his junior year at Montclair (N.J.) Immaculate Conception, including a 50-point game last December.

He is ranked as the No. 14 point guard and No. 145 prospect in the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite. Robinson has been verbally committed to Louisville since last October, and held offers from LSU, Georgetown, Kansas State, Temple and others before deciding to choose the Cardinals.
