Hailey Van Lith, Mykasa Robinson Earn All-ACC Honors

Van Lith was named to the First Team and Robinson was named to the All-Defensive Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville guards Mykasa Robinson and Hailey Van Lith both earned All-ACC honors, the conference announced Tuesday night. Van Lith was named to the First Team All-ACC for the second-straight season and Robinson was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team for the third-straight season.

Robinson is the first player since 2017 to be named to the All-Defensive Team for three-straight seasons. On the year, Robinson leads the Cards with 4.0 assists per game, 2.0 steals per game and has averaged 5.6 points and 4.7 rebounds. She is playing some of the best basketball of her career, especially after being added to the starting lineup over the last eight games. In the last eight games since she has been in the starting five, she is averaging 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.4 steals per game.

Robinson leads the ACC in assist/turnover ratio with 2.4 and it ranks 23rd nationally. In ACC games, Robinson ranks third in the ACC in assists per game (5.0) and fourth in steals per game (2.0). She had one of the best games of her career against Syracuse with a career-best 12 assists and zero turnovers. She has had multiple steals in 11 of her 16 ACC games and tied a career high with five steals in the game against the Orange.

Van Lith has been one of the best players for the Cardinals all season long and leads the team with 19.4 points per game and is second with 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Her 19.4 points per game is third in the ACC and ranks 26th nationally. She ranks 12th nationally in minutes played (37.11), 16th in points (581) and 21st in field goals made (206). She has scored in double-figures in 28 of her 30 games played this year and has scored 20 or more points 15 times this year.

In ACC play, Van Lith is second in the conference with 19.1 points per game and seventh with 3.6 assists per game. She has scored 17 or more points in 15 of her 18 ACC games, more than any other player in the conference. Van Lith has tallied 20 or more points in nine ACC games. She has scored 17 or more points in each of her last seven games.

The Cardinals will be back in action on March 3 when they get started at the 2023 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament in Greensboro, N.C. Louisville is the No. 4 seed in the tournament and will begin in the semifinals at 11 a.m. ET on Friday. The Cardinals will either play Florida State, Virginia or Wake Forest in the quarterfinal matchup that will air nationally on the ACC Network.
