Louisville Football Climbs Up Week 10 AP Top 25 Poll

The Cardinals won a top-20 matchup against Duke in their first action out of their bye week.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Following their shutout win in a top-20 matchup against Duke, the Louisville football program is continuing to climb up the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

The Cardinals (7-1, 4-1 ACC) garnered 666 votes in week 10 of the AP Top 25, rising from No. 18 in last week’s poll to No. 15 this week.

In their first action out of the bye week, Louisville used an efficient ground game and stifling defense to take down No. 20 Duke. Jawhar Jordan ran for 163 yards as part of a 234-yard effort on the ground by the Cardinals, while the Blue Devils were held to 202 yards of offense and 51 yards rushing.

Louisville will be back in action this weekend, continuing on their three-game home stand to host Virginia Tech. Kickoff against the Hokies is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m. EST.
