Watch: Brian Brohm, Louisville QBs Talk Fall Camp
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The start of the Jeff Brohm era of the Louisville football program is just on the horizon. The Cardinals are midway through their third and final week of fall camp, and their season opener against Georgia Tech is just 16 days away.
Like many other position groups on the roster for the Cardinals, quarterback is viewed as a big time strength heading into the 2023 season. Not only do they have an above average Power Five caliber starter in Jack Plummer, but the rest of the quarterbacks behind him have been standing out in fall camp.
"The competition at quarterback is tremendous," offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brian Brohm said. "A lot of different guys are vying for reps and fighting to get time. It's been a little bit of a challenge to make sure we get everybody the work that we need, but we've been able to do that. Competition has been good."
Following the Cardinals' practice on Wednesday, Brian Brohm, and quarterbacks Brock Domann, Pierce Clarkson, Brady Allen and Harrison Bailey took time to meet with the media. They discussed the progress made by the room in fall camp up to this point, the adjustment to scheme, what stands out about Plummer, the competition at backup quarterback, and more.
