LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Game week is finally here, and the Louisville football program is set to kickoff their 2022 season at Syracuse.

Here are the depth charts for both the Cardinals and Orange:

Changes from Louisville's Preseason Depth Chart:

  • Brock Domann goes from No. 3 to No. 2 quarterback. No third string quarterback listed.
  • Tiyon Evans wins battle for starting running back. Jawhar Jordan, Jalen Mitchell and Trevion Cooley are all listed as co-No. 2 running backs.
  • Michael Gonzalez now listed at No. 2 right tackle, replacing Kobe Baynes who entered the transfer portal.
  • Elijah Downing added to depth chart as No. 3 wide receiver behind Tyler Hudson and Jaelin Carter
  • Ahmari Huggins-Bruce and Braden Smith are now co-starters at one wide receiver position, while Dee Wiggins and Huggins-Bruce are co-starters at another. Josh Johnson removed from depth chart.
  • Duane Martin now No. 2 at half-back, bumping Isaac Martin down to No. 3.
  • Dez Melton and Francis Sherman are now co-starters at tight end.
  • Jared Dawson replaces Caleb Banks as No. 3 nose tackle.
  • Ryheem Craig no longer listed as No. 3 defensive end behind YaYa Diaby and Mason Reiger.
  • Popeye Williams replaces Allen Smith as No. 3 outside linebacker at DOG.
  • T.J. Quinn replaces Jaylin Alderman as No. 3 middle linebacker behind Monty Montgomery and Dorian Jones. Alderman replaces Jackson Hamilton as No. 3 middle linebacker behind MoMo Sanogo and K.J. Cloyd.
  • Ben Perry and Marvin Dallas are now co-starters at outside linebacker at CARD.
  • Chandler Jones and Jarvis Brownlee are now co-starters at cornerback, as are Kei'Trel Clark and Quincy Riley. Trey Franklin, Rance Conner and Derrick Edwards Jr. removed from depth chart.
  • Jeremiah Caldwell moved from No. 4 strong safety to No. 3 free safety, replacing Shavarick Williams.
  • James Turner and Brock Travelstead are now co-starters at placekicker.
  • Shai Kochav added as co-starter at long snapper with Drew Brenowitz.
  • Jalen Mitchell added as No. 2 kick returner.
  • Jawhar Jordan and Ahmari Huggins-Bruce now are No. 1 and No. 2 at punt returner, replacing Josh Johnson as sole punt returner.
