Game Day Live Blog: Louisville at Miami | Game 11
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After having to mount a comeback against Virginia last week, the Louisville football program is heading down south, traveling to Miami for their final true road game of the 2023 season and a berth to the ACC Championship on the line.
The Cardinals narrowly avoided an upset loss to Virginia this past Thursday, reaching the end zone on back-to-back drives to pull ahead after trailing by a touchdown heading into the final minutes of the game. Quarterback Jack Plummer found Ahmari Huggins-Bruce for a 52-yard game-tying score, then Isaac Guerendo ran it 73 yards to put the Cardinals over the Cavaliers 31-24.
As for the Hurricanes, it has been an up-and-down season for them. While they dominated in the non-conference slate with a perfect 4-0 mark, they are at risk of not even posting a .500 mark in conference play in Mario Cristobal's second season at the helm. They're on a two-game losing streak, most recently falling to in-state rival Florida State, 27-20, in Tallahassee.
