LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Hosting Boston College for their first home ACC of the season, Louisville used a high-flying offensive attack to dominant their visitors, coming out with a 56-28 win to secure their best start to a season since 2016.

Team Notes:
- Louisville improves to 9-7 vs. Boston College, including 6-2 in Louisville and 5-1 at L&N Stadium.
- The Cards are off to a 4-0 start overall and 2-0 in ACC play for the first time since doing both in 2016.
- Jeff Brohm is the third Louisville head football coach to begin his UofL career 4-0, joining Tom King and Bobby Petrino.
- Louisville finishes with 582 yards of total offense, its 30th highest total in program history and second 500-yard game under Brohm.
- Louisville scores touchdowns on its first seven possessions for the first time since scoring TDs on its first 10 possessions vs. Murray State in 2007.
- Louisville takes a halftime lead of at least 21 points in three straight games for the first time since doing so in four straight games spanning the 1912 and 1913 seasons.
- The Cards' defense breaks up seven Boston College passes and holds the Eagles to one fourth down conversion in four tries.
Player Notes:
- QB Jack Plummer finished 18-of-21 for 388 yards passing with five touchdown passes and no interceptions in addition to a nine-yard touchdown run.
- Plummer completed five passes of at least 40 yards each, giving him nine on the season.
- Plummer completed 15 straight passes before an incompletion on his final attempt, tying him for the fourth longest completion streak in program history.
- RB Jawhar Jordan rushed for 134 yards on 18 carries, including touchdowns of 33 and two yards to go with a 75-yard TD reception.
- Jordan logged his seventh career 100-yard rushing game, all coming in the last nine games.
- WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce had three receptions for 110 yards, including touchdowns of 45 and 55 yards.
- Huggins-Bruce had his second career 100-yard receiving game.
- WR Jamari Thrash had five receptions for 71 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown.
- TE Nate Kurisky scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard reception.
- LB Jaylin Alderman led the Louisville defense with eight tackles, including a sack for nine yards.
- DL Ashton Gillotte contributed two sacks for eight yards.
