Top-100 '25 CB Tarrion Grant Names Louisville to Top 10
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With all the progress that Louisville football program has made so far in the 2024 recruiting cycle, they are starting to make headway with some of their top targets in the Class of 2025.
Tarrion Grant, a highly-touted cornerback from Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel, announced his list of top ten schools on Tuesday with the Cardinals making the cut. Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Purdue, Tennessee and Virginia Tech are also still in the running for his commitment.
Grant has shown plenty of interest in the Cardinals, even with the coaching change. He was offered by the previous staff at Louisville back in March of 2022, took an unofficial visit to their game against Wake Forest last October, then returned for their Junior Day this past January.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound corner is one of the top prospects in the 2025 cycle. He ranks as high as the No. 5 player at his position and the No. 54 overall prospect in the class, according to Rivals. He comes in as the No. 133 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite.
In eight games tracked by MaxPreps during his sophomore year at Siegel, Grant logged 32 tackles (19 solo) and three tackles for loss. Also taking snaps as a receiver, he caught 14 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown.
Louisville has yet to land a commitment in the Class of 2025. In the more immediate 2024 cycle, the Cardinals sport a 12-man class, and have landed four verbal pledges during the month of June.
