An Updated Look at Louisville's Top Remaining Class of 2024 Targets

Here's another look at some of the top remaining targets for the Cardinals in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
In this story:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville football program had a good spring and early summer out on the recruiting trail. They land several of their targets in the Class of 2023, with their 15-man class ranked as the No. 54 class in the nation, according to On3.

Things have been relatively quiet in the cycle since early July. With Louisville in line to graduate 16 upperclassmen, there isn't a large need to pursue a ton of high school targets. Especially in the age of the transfer portal.

While the bulk of their recruiting efforts have shifted to the 2025 cycle, the Cardinals are still in the mix for a few 2024 prospects as we head into the fall. With 13 scholarship commitments currently in the fold, who else are the Cards targeting? Below are some of Louisville's top current targets in the 2024 cycle, listed alphabetically by last name:

Hayden Eligon II

Position: Wide Receiver
Vitals: 6-foot-4, 190 pounds
School: Los Alamitos (Calif.) HS
Top Offers: Arizona, Cal
247Sports Composite Rating (Nat'l Rank): N/A

Quick Note: Eligon was offered by the previous staff, but does have a connection with fellow California native and current Louisville player Pierce Clarkson.

Mako Grant

Position: Running Back/Safety
Vitals: 5-foot-11, 185 pounds
School: Chicago (Ill.) Kenwood Academy
Top Offers: Arizona State, Marshall, Nebraska, Oregon, West Virginia, Wyoming
247Sports Composite Rating (Nat'l Rank): 0.8550 (1,257th)

Quick Note: A two-way player from out of Chicago, Grant would fill a need in the secondary for Louisville after this upcoming season.

Uche Iloh

Position: Defensive End
Vitals: 6-foot-7, 243 pounds
School: Peachtree City (Ga.) McIntosh
Top Offers: Duke, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Missouri, NC State, Ole Miss
247Sports Composite Rating (Nat'l Rank): 0.8800 (621st)

Quick Note: Iloh was also offered back in May by the Cardinals, and while Louisville is set to lose - at minimum - a pair of of defensive linemen, they are pretty set here at this area of the field.

Ellis McAdoo

Position: Offensive Guard
Vitals: 6-foot-5, 310 pounds
School: Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More
Top Offers: Florida, Miami, Purdue, West Virgina
247Sports Composite Rating (Nat'l Rank): N/A

Quick Note: Offensive line will certainly be a need after this upcoming season, and after extending an offer back in May, Louisville could be in line for a fall visit.

Joseph "JoJo" Stone

Position: Wide Receiver
Vitals: 5-foot-11, 180 pounds
School: Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes
Top Offers: Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee
247Sports Composite Rating (Nat'l Rank): 0.9055 (299th)

Quick Note: Stone appears to be locked in with his commitment to LSU, but that doesn't mean Louisville hasn't stopped with their efforts to try and flip him.
