How to Watch: LSU Baseball vs. Kentucky in Game Two

Tigers can punch their ticket to Omaha with a win, face the Wildcats in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

The LSU Tigers will take on the Kentucky Wildcats in the Baton Rouge Super Regional with a trip to Omaha on the line. After claiming Game 1 of the series, the Tigers are one win away from punching their ticket to the College World Series.

In just Johnson’s second season at the helm of the program, he has led the Tigers to the Super Regionals after earning the No. 5 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, but the next step is within reach on Sunday.

Johnson has praised what LSU is building, harping on their success and leadership as a trip to Omaha nears:

"I think it's a special team. No question about that. I think anytime I've had a team that's been successful, what I try to do is take the things that were good from that team and emulate them in the program going forward. Really old players in some cases,” Johnson said after Game 1. “We have some future major league players. We have some young players that have really contributed to their success, but it's not quite their time right now… We have great leadership.”
