LSU Baseball: Dylan Crews Promoted to Double-A by Nationals

Crews skips the High-A level, continues flying through the minor leagues.

Former LSU star, and the No. 2 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, Dylan Crews has been elevated to Double-A by the Washington Nationals organization. 

The 21-year-old will suit up for the Harrisburg Senators as he continues his rise through the minor league system. 

Crews played in just 14 Low-A games and one rookie-level game this summer, quickly showcasing his power at the plate and elite-level skills in the field. 

The former Tiger recorded 22 hits, 16 runs, five home runs, 24 RBI and a 1.068 OPS in two weeks during his Single-A showing. 

Crews, the 2023 Golden Spikes Award winner, has shined so far during his professional career in a short timeframe. 

The Senators begin their next series on Tuesday where Crews could make his Double-A debut.
