Kim Mulkey, LSU WBB To Host All-American Transfer For Official Visit
DePaul star Aneesah Morrow announced she would be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal in early April. After hearing from over 33 schools, the No. 2 transfer portal prospect locked in her finalists of LSU, USC and South Carolina and will be in Baton Rouge this weekend for an official visit.
Morrow will arrive to campus on Thursday where she will begin her weekend stay with Kim Mulkey and the Tigers as she locks in on making a decision.
The dynamic scorer visited USC last weekend, will be in Baton Rouge this weekend and will visit South Carolina next weekend before revealing where she will take her talents.
The 6-foot-1 forward is fresh off of leading the country in scoring with 25.7 points per game on 42.5% from the field. A lethal bucket-getter, she’s also one of the top rebounders in the country, grabbing over 12 a night for her program.
In two seasons with DePaul, Morrow has elevated her game to new heights. She earned All-America honors on her way to becoming one of the most dynamic players in the country with her sheer force and elite finishing around the rim.
As productive as they come in college basketball, Morrow has tallied 53 double-doubles in 66 games played, leading the Big East in rebounds per game in each of her first two seasons.
The thought of pairing Morrow alongside All-American Angel Reese is a scary idea moving forward. Both forwards possess the slithery ability to be in the right place at the right time and use their size in order to control the glass.
Along with Morrow, the Tigers are making an impression on Louisville transfer Hailey Van Lith, who is set to make her college announcement. The No. 1 transfer portal prospect has already taken a visit to Baton Rouge as a decision creeps closer.
For Mulkey, this isn’t anything new. She’s put the Tigers in contention for the top two players in the transfer portal as she retools her roster in search of back-to-back national championships.
