Second Half

Score Update: LSU 85, UNO 56

Tigers' offensive dominance has become too much for the Privateers. With an elite showing from Cam Hayes to close out the second half, their guard play took over. 

Score Update: LSU 70, UNO 38

Derek Fountain has officially stolen the show for LSU tonight. The first-year Tiger is up to 17 points, eight rebounds and seven steals with 8:45 remaining in this one. 

Juice Hill with back-to-back electric plays for the Tigers and the crowd erupts. The Murray State transfer came up with a clutch steal and followed it up with an pass to himself for the dunk. On the next possession he throws a lob to Derek Fountain who punches it home. Zion Williamson, who is in attendance tonight, gave a thumbs up to the camera. 

Score Update: LSU 59, UNO 36

Both programs with hot starts to the second half, knocking down four of their first five shots to get things going. 

Jalen Reed starts the second half with a bucket for the Tigers. The freshman has high expectations weighing on his shoulders, but has continued to evolve game after game. 

Halftime: LSU 47, UNO 25

First Half

LSU sophomore Justice Williams is as smooth of a player as the Tigers have. The youngster is never rattled, always making the right play for this group. 

Adam Miller is 0-for-5 from the field with two points in the first half, but the production from his sidekicks is what has been most impressive. Tigers going deep into their bench as we near the end of the first half. 

The Tigers are on a 27-6 run as we reach the 5:49 mark in the first half. Their consistency on the glass and ability to penetrate the lane has given them a hefty advantage here. Impressive showing for McMahon's group here early. 

Score Update: LSU 28, UNO 12

Justice "Juice" Hill is getting into a groove here early after knocking down his third three-pointer of the half. He's 3/4 from downtown with nine points. 

LSU has continued to control the paint in this one. Between getting easy lay-ins and controlling the glass, it's been all Tigers in this one despite Adam Miller struggling from the field.

Score Update: LSU 18, UNO 9

A 16-3 run over a six-minute stretch by the Tigers has propelled their score to nine as we near the midway point in the first half. 

Big-time play from Trae Hannibal to get the steal, push in transition and finish the and-one opportunity. The Tigers' offense remains a work in progress, but evolving rather quickly with elite guard play. 

LSU has gone to Derek Fountain early in each of their first few games off the bench. Against the Privateers, it's much of the same as he pops right in less than five minutes in. 

Score Update: LSU 13, UNO 9

Justice Hill has evolved into a major three-point threat for LSU. It's a small sample size, but the Murray State transfer continues to get it done for the Tigers. 

UNO continues to be efficient with the ball with the Tigers running a man-to-man defense. Khaleb Wilson-Rouse leading the way with six early points. 

KJ Williams gets the Tigers going with an easy layup. Williams has diversified his portfolio this season, becoming both an inside and outside presence.
