Matt McMahon and Co. are quickly making their presence felt on the recruiting trail, and after two weeks of big-time visits, the Tigers are trending in the right direction.

This weekend will be much of the same with LSU hosting the No. 1 player in Arkansas, Annor Boateng, for a visit to Baton Rouge, sources tell LSU Country.

The high four-star prospect is a Top 50 recruit in America with the Tigers turning up the heat for the 2024 fast-riser.

Boateng is quickly flying up the recruiting rankings with a few schools catching his attention, namely Missouri, Arkansas and LSU. McMahon is in Boateng’s ear routinely, and with a visit happening this weekend, this program is making an impression.

It’s been a big-time week for this LSU coaching staff. The Tigers also traveled up to North Carolina to host an in-home visit with four-star wing Rakease Passmore out of Combine Academy.

Passmore has become a hot commodity on the recruiting trail with LSU looking to get the Top 50 prospect down to Baton Rouge for an official visit within the next few weeks, hopefully next weekend.

McMahon also made his way over to Texas for an in-home visit with four-star guard Nic Codie this week. The 6-foot-8 small forward has the Tigers in his Top 7 with this coaching staff making sure keep him as a priority prospect.

With Boateng, Passmore and Codie receiving facetime with McMahon this week, last weekend’s visitors list is also notable.

LSU brought in 2024 Top 50 prospect, Vyctorius Miller, four-star wing Robert Miller and four-star small forward Billy Richmond for visits to Baton Rouge.

McMahon and his coaching staff made sure the trio of visitors received the red carpet treatment, bringing the 2024 prospects to the LSU vs. Grambling State game in Tiger Stadium, the home opener for the football program.

[Robert] Miller, an LSU legacy, is at the top of LSU’s 2024 Big Board. A dynamic wing who can get buckets in a hurry, this program is in his ear daily. For [Vyctorious] Miller, the Tigers are in heavy pursuit as well.

LSU will host a few more prospects over the next couple of weeks with Boateng heading to Baton Rouge for a multi-day stay this weekend.

The Tigers will certainly roll out the carpet for one of their top 2024 targets as he begins locking in on a college decision.
