LSU WBB: 4-Star Target Me'Arah O'Neal Sets Commitment Date

The daughter of LSU great Shaquille O'Neal has locked in her decision date, Tigers in the mix.

LSU legacy Me'Arah O'Neal has locked in a commitment date as the Early Signing Period approaches in November. The four-star forward will reveal her commitment on Nov. 11.

The coveted prospect included Kim Mulkey’s program alongside Arizona State, Baylor, California, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Tennessee in her final eight schools in August. 

Now, it's decision time. 

A rich LSU bloodline, O’Neal bleeds purple and gold, but there are several suitors battling for her services. 

She has already made her way down to Baton Rouge this year to visit the reigning National Champions where she was accompanied by All-American forward Angel Reese, Kateri Poole and more.

The daughter of Shaquille O’Neal, Me’Arah was certainly gifted the physical tools necessary to excel on the hardwood. Already standing at 6-foot-3, O’Neal is beginning to put it all together during her senior campaign.

Now, as she goes through her final season before college ball, O’Neal will begin locking in on a decision after including LSU among her finalists.

It was a big summer for O’Neal. The youngster saw her game reach that next level on the AAU circuit and it’s evident what she is capable of at the next level as advancements in her footwork continue.

With the size and strength O’Neal attains, it’s only a matter of time until she puts it all together before reaching the next level.

Now, with a commitment date set in stone, O'Neal will continue locking in on making a decision with the Tigers looking to make a push for her services.
