Hailey Van Lith's decision to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal sent shockwaves across the college basketball scene, but her destination became the headliner. 

The decision to team up with All-American Angel Reese and the National Champion LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge took America by storm.

Led by Coach Kim Mulkey and her all-star staff, the Tigers claimed their first title in program history in 2023. In just Mulkey's second season at the helm of the women's basketball program, she brought the Tigers to the top.

Now, she's pieced together a "super team" in Baton Rouge with the Tigers bringing in Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow, and the No. 2 player in the 2023 class, Mikaylah Williams, to team up with Angel Reese and Flau'jae Johnson.

For Van Lith, she just wants to compete and play for the best. There were a few boxes that needed to be checked with her next destination and LSU did just that.
