LSU junior wide receiver Dee Anderson suspended for 2019 season
Ed Orgeron broke the news that junior wide receiver Dee Anderson would be suspended for the entire 2019 season.
Anderson was initially suspended for not being in "physical condition" for fall camp that caused him to miss all of camp and now into the regular season. The 6-foot-6, 229-pound receiver could elect to take a redshirt year and transfer to another college or enter his name in the 2020 NFL draft.
For his career, Anderson hauled in 27 catches for 392 yards and a touchdown that came in the third overtime of the Tigers 74-72 loss to Texas A&M in 2018.
A source told Brody Miller of the Athletic that it is not known at this time what Anderson's plans are following the suspension.
LSU is currently reaping the rewards of its stacked receiving core with Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase and Terrace Marshall putting the SEC on high alert through their stellar play in two weeks of the season.
