No. 1 LSU vs No. 24 Texas A&M Given 6 p.m. Start Time
Following a 74-72 seven overtime extravaganza in 2018, a game LSU had won dead to rights multiple times, fans circled the 2019 Texas A&M game and have waited for the Aggies to come to Death Valley ever since.
Well on Monday it was learned that the final home game of the season for the Tigers will be a night game in Death Valley. The SEC announced the matchup between No. 1 LSU and No. 24 Texas A&M will be played at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30 and available to watch on ESPN.
LSU will look to remain perfect in 2019 while writing the wrong of the 2018 ending, a game that coach Ed Orgeron said afterward's should have never gone to overtime in the first place.
"I just feel bad for those young men. That second shouldn't have been put on the clock, and I'm sticking to that," Orgeron said.
The 2018 game went to overtime after the one second was added to the fourth quarter when A&M was able to spike the ball with three seconds left, despite there being a rule that you can’t get a spike off in under three seconds.
The Aggies would score a touchdown on the final play and eventually win the game after seven overtimes.
