Live Updates: LSU Football vs. Auburn in Week 7
No. 22 LSU is back in Tiger Stadium with a primetime matchup against Auburn set to kickoff at 6:05 p.m. CT.
LSU enters the contest at 4-2 overall (3-1 in SEC play), while Auburn is 3-2 overall (0-2 in SEC play), but it’s a matchup that has significant intrigue.
The Tigers enter Saturday night with the top offense in the SEC and the No. 3 ranked offense nationally, averaging 558.3 yards per game (210.7 rushing, 337.7 passing). Quarterback Jayden Daniels continues to play at an elite level, finishing 15-of-21 for 259 yards passing, 130 yards rushing and four total touchdowns last week in LSU’s 49-39 win over Missouri.

- LSU cornerback Ashton Stamps is OUT for Saturday's contest against Auburn. The true freshman was seen in sweats on the sidelines.
- LSU WR Chris Hilton Jr. is OUT for Saturday, but was seen without his walking boot on. Positive sign for the Tigers vertical threat.
- The Tigers will roll with their wide receiver tandem of Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr. and Kyren Lacy as the starters. Expect Aaron Anderson to receive snaps against the Tigers as he returns from a hamstring injury.
- Thin cornerback group: Zy Alexander, Denver Harris, Laterrance Welch and Sage Ryan.
- Omar Speights returns for the Tigers after missing last week at Missouri, Expect Speights to split reps with true freshman Whit Weeks at linebacker.

First Quarter
Auburn has won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. Jayden Daniels and Co. will start the game with the football.
Daniels opens the game with a quick pass to LSU tight end Mason Taylor for a quick nine yard gain. Logan Diggs follows it with a 35-yard run as the Tigers near the red zone in the blink of an eye.
Daniels connects with Malik Nabers for a 29-yard touchdown pass and the Tigers get on the board in under two minutes. 4-play, 75-yard drive.

LSU defense rolled with Sage Ryan and Zy Alexander as the starting cornerbacks on the first defensive snap. The next play defensive coordinator Matt House went with a dime package, throwing in Denver Harris at cornerback with Ryan moving to nickel and Ryan Yaites coming in as the third safety alongside Andre Sam and Major Burns.
It's deafening in Tiger Stadium and Auburn is feeling it. A quick false start penalty and miscommunication on the snap on third down forces the [Auburn] Tigers to punt. Three and out. LSU takes over.
The LSU offense is rolling. Jayden Daniels breaks open a 26-yard run and the Tigers are near the red zone once again. On the following play, offensive lineman Emery Jones went down with a lower body injury and immediately went into the medical tent. True freshman Zalance Heard enters the game at right tackle.
LSU unable to convert on third and 10 inside the red zone and the Tigers will settle for a 30-yard field goal. Damian Ramos' kick is good. 11-play, 66-yard scoring drive.

A John Emery sighting. The veteran running back comes in with a big run and follows it with a 49-yard gain on a reception from Jayden Daniels. LSU inside the red zone.

Auburn strikes back to get on the board. A balanced attack for this offense as Jarquez Hunter punches in the touchdown. 8-play, 75-yard touchdown drive for the Tigers.

Auburn is rolling with Robby Ashford here to start the second half and he immediately connects with Brandon Frazier for a 39-yard gain. Shortly after, Harold Perkins comes up with a huge sack on third down. Auburn's 38-yard field goal is good.

True freshman Kaleb Jackson continues leaving imprints every moment he can. The youngster breaks open a kick return 64 yards down the sideline to put the Tigers on the Auburn 38-yard line.
