LSU Football: No. 2 Quarterback in America Visiting Baton Rouge
LSU is putting together an impressive visitors list for Week 13 against Texas A&M with one of the top prospects in the 2025 class, George MacIntyre, set to make his way down to Baton Rouge.
MacIntyre, who has already been down South on several occasions, will take in a game day experience when the Tigers hold their regular season finale against the Aggies.
The 5-star, Top 25 prospect in the 2025 class has an offer list growing at a rapid pace. The No. 1 player in Tennessee already boasts an offer sheet of over 20 programs with LSU coming in hot for the elite-level prospect.
At 6-foot-5, 185 pounds, MacIntyre is your prototypical signal-caller in the SEC and has seen his game evolve significantly after a standout sophomore campaign.
A slender frame, developing size will clearly be of the utmost importance, but from a fundamentals standpoint, the youngster showed it all in his first year starting on varsity.
Now, in the midst of his junior season, it’s expected he continues taking that next step in his development. A player with significant arm talent, the weight room will be his best friend as he takes that jump.
MacIntyre is also a standout on the hardwood with Power Five interest in basketball. A dual-sport athlete, it shows in his footwork when in the pocket. Look for his steady rise to continue as he dials in for his junior season this fall with LSU beginning to get their foot in the door early.
Schools from the likes of LSU, Alabama and Tennessee are coming in hot for the No. 2 signal-caller in America.
Along with MacIntyre, the Tigers continue their pursuit of Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 class. Kelly and Co. are turning up the heat for both 2025 prospects as the season comes to a close
For Underwood, the No. 1 player in America has a commitment date locked in for January 6, 2024 with a final seven schools consisting of Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, LSU, Oregon, Penn State, and Florida State.
Now, fast forward to this weekend, LSU will have MacIntyre on campus as they dial in to find their signal-caller of the future.
