LSU will start putting the finishing touches on its preparation for Alabama during practice on Tuesday, implementing schemes and rotations that will best suit the Tigers for a successful outcome on Saturday.

On offense, this week is about finding ways to get its skill players in position to make plays while the defense will be preparing for a possibly not 100% Tua Tagovailoa.  All eyes will naturally gravitate towards Tagovailoa and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow on Saturday.

For Burrow and the offense, a trip to Tuscaloosa provides a chance at redemption after being shutout at home in 2018 by the Tide defense. With a new passing game coordinator and inventive spread offense, Burrow and company will be striving for a battle of the offenses.

"Being with all these guys for an extra year, it feels like a perfect storm," Burrow said. "Ja'Marr, Terrace, Justin, Clyde emerging, all five O-linemen coming back, emerging as one. And the you add in coach Joe and coach Ensminger working together, it's been something special for us this year and we have all the confidence in the world in each other."
