Nabers flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to LSU during the recruiting process, representing Louisiana.

LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers continues shining in the purple and gold after a dominant sophomore campaign.

The Tigers' WR1 took the country by storm in Year 2 with the program, totaling over 1,000 yards receiving, and as he carries his success into his junior season, the sky's the limit for the star wideout.

But it was never guaranteed that Nabers would suit up for the Tigers.

The Louisiana native was committed to Mississippi State ahead of his senior year of high school, and after taking his recruitment down to the wire, it was a tough process for LSU to flip the star receiver.

At the buzzer, Coach Ed Orgeron and the LSU coaching staff flipped Nabers from Mississippi State to LSU and the rest is history.

The opportunity to represent Louisiana was something that meant the world to Nabers, and now cementing himself as one of the top receivers in program history, it's safe to say his decision paid off.
