AP Poll: Miami Basketball Moves Up
Starting the week off hot, the Miami Hurricanes Men's Basketball team (20-5) is up to #15 on the Week 15 AP Poll.
This increase in ranking comes in a week where the Canes went 2-0 with both games coming at home with a 22 point victory over Duke (17-8) and a eight point win over Louisville (3-22).
Miami will put their #15 ranking on the line as they head up to North Carolina to face the Tarheels as they look to improve on to their 11-1 home record. Miami enters tonight's game as 4.5 underdogs. North Carolina is coming off a 20 point win over Clemson at home.
Now at #15, the Canes become second highest ranked ACC team behind Virginia (#7) whom they defeated at home on December 20th, 2022.
Miami sits at 3rd in the ACC standings behind Pittsburgh and Virginia. If Miami can win tonight, look towards the March 4th matchup against Pittsburgh at the Watsco Center to potentially determine the ACC.
