Cavinder Twins Sit Down With SI Swimsuit To Discuss Their Rise To Stardom
No Miami two athletes have generated more buzz than Hanna and Haley Cavinder, the NIL "superstars" who transferred from Fresno State this past summer. They recently broke headlines when they became the focus for an NCAA Infraction Ruling regarding their recruitment to Miami.
With that news now in the past for the most, the Cavinder Twins sat down with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, discussing how they've navigated NIL and who's inspired them to be were they are today.
One of the big takeaways from this interview was just how much the twins rely on one another. In the article Hanna mentions "we hold each other accountable, we know what our priorities are," referring to how they balance all of their obligations.
While being full-time students at the University of Miami, they also juggle NIL deals with brands like Champs, WWE, LifeWallet, PSD and more.
In terms of their role models that have inspired them to reach the heights they have today, they mentioned the ever-so talented Serena Williams and even their mother Katie Cavinder. Hanna said that the sheer competitive-nature Williams possesses is inspiring for young female athletes like themselves.
At the end of the day, the Cavinder twins have learned throughout this journey that they have to be true to themselves and no always look to appease the masses.
It has worked so far, as the twins remain two of the top brands in collegiate sports as they await the start of the NCAA Tournament.
