Injury News: Against Louisville, UM guard Wooga Poplar came back and did well after an ankle injury. He had 18 points and 4 rebounds. Against Virginia Tech, Miami is expected to be as healthy as a team can be this far into a basketball season.

Fortunately, the Hokies are also a healthy team right for tonight's contest. Nothing like best on best.

Betting Odds: The SI Sports Book has Virginia Tech -2.5 over Miami. The over/under is 154.5. For the money line, the Hokies are -152 and the Hurricanes +120.

Key Matchup: Miami's leading scorer, Norchad Omier, only had 9 points and 7 rebounds during the loss to Louisville. In the post, he's facing Lynn Kidd. The 6-foot-10 and 235-pound center averages 14.7 points and 7.3 points per contest.

Will Omier beat Kidd up and down the court to gain easy looks at the basket? If not, it's going to be harder to beat Kidd with traditional back-to-the-basket moves. Keep an eye on the post when the Canes travel to play the Hokies.
