Basketball Media Availability: Injuries, Consistency and Jordan Miller
Last time the Seminoles came to the Watsco Center, they put an end to Miami's undefeated home court record in stunning fashion as then Seminole Matthew Cleveland hit the game-winning three.
Today, he's on the other side of the rivalry as he'll be a major contributor as the Hurricanes look to improve to 4-2 in ACC play.
When comparing the two teams this season, Florida State differs from Miami with their deep use of their bench as well as their height. Jim Larrañaga mentioned how the Seminoles are the tallest team in the country, with five players 6-foot 10 or taller.
On the flip side Miami has just one player at 6-foot 10 or taller in Michael Nwoko, who has yet to log any significant minutes in recent games.
When asked about if he'll dive deeper into his bench to combat Florida State's depth and size, Coach Larrañaga said "it's a game-time decision" all based around the health of the team.
Regarding Miami's health, Wooga Poplar shared that he continues to battle the ankle injury he suffered from North Florida. He stated that his ankle is about 75% as he did not participate in practice yesterday for Miami. He hopes that he'll be able to battle through and play tomorrow night.
Nijel Pack shared that he's excited to participate in this year's game, as he was sidelined for the last year's home contest against the Seminoles. After putting up an all-around contribution against Virginia Tech, he said he'll put up whatever stat line it takes to get the win.
Pack was seen later receiving treatment before practice, but shortly returned to joined the team after. Poplar also participated in the team's practice as well.
However the talking point of the afternoon was Jordan Miller, who continues his dominance in the G-League as the regular season scoring leader. Coach Larrañaga was all smiles, praising the the former All-ACC player saying "eventually in time he’ll be in the rotation of [an] NBA team".

Miami will play host to the Seminoles tomorrow night at 7 PM in front of a sold-out student section at the Watsco Center in a pivotal ACC matchup.
