It's Draft Day, Where Could Isaiah Wong and Jordan Miller End Up?

Taking A Look At The Teams Wong And Miller Have The Best Odds To End Up At
David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

One of the most entertaining days of the year in any sport, today is the start of many young careers in the NBA with the NBA Draft starting tonight at 8 PM EST.

For Miami Hurricanes fans, this is a day that is overlooked for the most part with a lack of NBA talent going through the program in past years.

However, those days seem to now be a thing of the past as the Hurricanes basketball program is rapidly establishing themselves in the collegiate basketball world.

Tonight, two Hurricanes in Isaiah Wong and Jordan Miller are both expected to hear their names called tonight after fantastic careers.

According to most mock drafts from the media, Wong and Miller are projected second round picks ranging from the top to the bottom of the round.

One of the best ways to determine where players may land is the teams they worked out for. While it isn't a requirement to workout for a team to be drafted, it provides a picture as to what teams have interest in certain prospects.

According to Luke Chaney of LifeWallet Sports and other sources, Wong and Miller have worked out for the following teams.

Wong:

- Hornets

- Lakers

- Hawks

- Nuggets

- Pacers

- Heat

Miller:

- Hornets

- Pacers

- Jazz

- Blazers

- Spurs

- Hawks

Given Wong also tested the waters last year, some teams have now been able to get a second look at him or already had him in last year.

Referring back to their scouting reports, Wong and Miller have great potential to be great role players in the NBA if they end up in the right situation.

However, we won't know exactly where these two Hurricanes end up until tonight's draft. Following that, we will only be a few weeks away from likely seeing these two back on the hardwood for the NBA's Summer League out in Las Vegas this July.
