Tonight’s NCAA Tournament Midwest Region game between the Miami Hurricanes and Indiana Hoosiers should be a classic.

The #5 seed Miami, it has brought a 26-7 record into the contest. For the #4 seed Indiana, it has accumulated a 23-11 record prior to this matchup.

One of the keys to the game this evening will be how Miami's senior guard Jordan Miller comes out and performs. He was not himself against Drake, scoring 7 points. Here's more about Miller's importance:

The winner of tonight’s game will play #1 seed Houston, that already defeated #9 seed Auburn, 81-64.

Tipoff has tentatively been set for 8:47 p.m. ET.

Miami wins 85-69.

This is incredible:

1:42 - Pack to the hoop. Indiana just does not have the speed that Miami does. Miami up 81-69.

2:24 - Hood-Schifino with his 3rd three in a row....

2:32 - Miller fouls Kopp. Miami up 77-66. 

It's now Miami's game to lose. Just do not turn it over, and Miami will advance.

3:15 - Back-to-back triples for UM! Wong and then Joseph! Miami up 75-60. 

4:20 - TJD block of Omier. Hood-Schifino hits.

4:40 - TJD denied. Miami ball.

4:53 - Hood-Schifino fouled by Omier. IU ball out of bounds.

5:07 - Wong with 2 makes from the line. Miami up 69-58.

NOTE - Omier has been really active of late. He's keeping plays alive and changing the game.

5:45 - Miller scored over TJD. Miami up 67-58.

6:00 - Now Poplar has been injured. He looks gimpy.

6:06 - TJD drives and he's fouled by Omier. He hit both. Miami up 65-58. ****Wong back in the game.

6:20 - Miami up 65-56.

Very important next 2 minutes. IU must get back on track or Miami could run away with this game.

7:30 - TJD and Miller trade buckets, Miami up 65-53.

8:10 - Make that a 16-2 run as Miller hits a layup.

8:49 - Miami up 61-51 as Wong drills another 3!!!!!!!! Timeout Indiana.

9:30 - Joseph for 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9:47 - Held ball. Possession Miami.

10:19 - Miami up 55-51 as Miller hit 1/2.

10:19 - The score has been changed. Hood-Schifino's earlier 3 has been ruled a 2. It's Miami up 54-51.

NOTE: Miami's Isaiah Wong has 15 points already. He was only 1-10 from the floor versus Drake.

10:57 - TJD with a shot over Miller. Miami 54-52.

11:38 - Wong for 3!

12:22 - Miller hits a shot off glass, and Miami leads 51-49. Miami ball again as Hood-Schifino misses...

13:05 - Poplar with a beautiful floater in the lane. Tied at 49.

13:45 - Hood-Schifino heating up. There's another jumper. IU up 49-47.

14:00 - Omier fouled by TJD. He hits one. Tied at 47.

14:35 - TJD blocks a shot and Hood-Schifino knocked it down from deep. IU up 47-46.

15:32 - Under 16 minute timeout. Indiana leads Miami 45-44. Tremendous Game!

16:21 - Wong with a layup. Miami back up 44-43. Then, TJD scores in the paint. IU up 45-44.

16:46 - Wooga Poplar with a travel. 

17:17 - Omier with a jam. Much needed. 43-42 IU lead.

17:42 - TJD hits 1/2 at the line. IU up 43-40.

Complete Turnaround. Miami looks flat.

17:44 - Omier and Wong have the ball go out of bounds of each of them....

18:38 - TJD with a layp....IU with its first lead, 42-40.

19:20 - Dunk for IU's Race Thompson .... WE ARE TIED

19:45 - Galloway drills a 3 after TJD set him up. 40-38 Miami up.

Second Half Starting Now....

Additional Statistics - The following tweet represented a major reason why Miami was the superior first half team:

Statistics - Miami has committed 8 turnovers now. Just a little while ago, the Canes held an advantage with only 4 turnovers and IU with 6. That 4-1 loss down the stretch, with it now being 8 turnovers for Miami and 7 for Indiana, allowed IU to shrink the lead to 5.

NOTE - Miami has played well but allowed Indiana to hang around. Despite shooting 16/29 for 55.2%, the Hoosiers late run makes this anyone's game.

Final possession - HUGE 3 for IU as Kopp was once again left WIDE OPEN. Miami leads 40-35 going into halftime after Galloway found his teammate in the corner.

1:02 Miller with a great deflection to deny TJD the ball. Miller Kopp scores, however, and it's Miami 40 and IU 32. 

2:00 - Jordan Miller rebounds his own miss and scores. 

2:14 - After Race Thompson gets a tip in for the Hoosiers, Trey Galloway back to the line and makes neither. Miami leads 38-30.

3:04 - Walker with the flush! Miami up 38-28.

3:37 - Wong hits both. Miami leads 36-28.

3:37 - 34-28 Miami leads, Wong to the free throw line. Under 4 minute timeout.

4:15 - Steal by Trey Galloway; he's fouled by Joseph from UM. Galloways shoots a 1-and-1.

5:00 - Terrible possession for Miami

5:35 - Race Thompson left all alone; he drilled a 3 for IU. 34-28 Miami up.

5:49 - Isaiah Wong hits a 3, and he's fouled! Miami now up 34-25 with the free throw being good.

6:18 - IU with another poor pass. Miami's Walker with the steal.

6:45 - Wong to the hoop and just past TJD. A much needed hoop for the Canes. Miami up 30-25.

7:15 - Trey Galloway for 3. Miami up 28-25.

7:31 - Casey with an offensive charge for UM.

7:53 - TJD has started to assert himself and UM has not guarded him well the last couple of possessions. He's back at the free throw line and knocked down both.

NOTE - Miami cannot allow IU back in it now. Critical juncture over the next few minutes.

7:54 - Hood-Schifino starting to settle in for the Hoosiers. Under 8 minute timeout.

8:31 - TJD with an offensive rebound and score. 28-20 Miami leads.

8:55 - TJD with a fadeaway bucket, and-1. Miami leads 28-18 now.

Note: after playig at Lawrence Central on the northeast side of Indianapolis, Ind., Miami's Nijel Pack has gone 3/4 and has 7 points.

11:46 - Norchad Omier steal and layup; Miami up 20-11. We are at the under 12 minute timout.

12:20 - Bensley Joseph with a back cut and he's at the line for two. He hit one and Miami leads 18-11.

12:41 - Trayce Jackson-Davis heads to the foul line for two. He hit both, and the score is now Miami 17 and Indiana 11.

12:55 - Isaiah Wong drove baseline but went out of bounds.

13:11 - Miami up 17-9. Again, Nijel Pack is getting whatever he wants.

13:58 - Two quick hoops for IU, with the last one being a Trey Galloway steal and dunk.

14:40 - Miami's speed causing issues; Pack with a drive and score. 

15:00 - Trayce Jackson-Davis banked one in from 8 feet. Miami leads 13-5.

Note: Indiana's one score was a kickout for a 3-point make by Indiana forward Miller Kopp. The Hurricanes cannot allow the Hoosiers to drive and kick. Kopp is a generally a stand and shoot player. If he's open, however, he can get hot.

16:30 - Canes up 11-3 as Nijel Pack nails a 3-ball.

Quick Note: Indiana has commonly gone through long scoring droughts this season. Not a good sign for the Hoosiers coming out totally flat versus Miami.

8:50 - Miami goes up 6-0, as Wooga Poplar took IU freshman guard Jalen Hood-Schifino to the bucket for the last score.
