Throughout the week, Miami reportedly split their first team quarterback reps between Tyler Van Dyke and Emory Williams.

Shortly before kickoff against the Florida State Seminoles, reports around the country confirmed that Williams will get the start.

Van Dyke has thrown 10 interceptions in his past four games. He turned the ball over four times (3 INT's and a fumble) last week in Miami's 20-6 loss at NC State.

Meanwhile, Williams has appeared in four games this year. His lone start was in Miami's double OT win over Clemson. In that game, he completed 24 of his 33 attempts for 151 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Though the game plan was kept very vanilla for him throughout that contest, he made some big throws in the fourth quarter to help Miami come back from a ten point deficit.

Saturday will mark Williams' fifth appearance on the year, burning his red shirt. He might very well end up being Miami's full time starter next season, so he has an opportunity over these final four games to gain valuable experience.

Kickoff for Miami at Florida State is set for 3:30pm from Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
