Miami Hurricanes Signees Lightfoot, Anderson Earn Significant Upgrades From On3 Sports Recruiting Rankings
Recruiting service On3 Sports has released their final class of 2024 rankings and several Miami signees have been given a bump.
Defensive end Marquise Lightfoot not only earned his 5th star, but also rose into the top 10. Defensive tackle Justin Scott came in right behind Lightfoot at number 11. Lightfoot and Scott are Miami's two 5-Star signees according to On3's rankings.
Another Hurricanes signee who earned a significant upgrade is quarterback Judd Anderson. Anderson earned his 4th star and comes in ranked 277th overall.
Edge Booker Pickett Jr, who performed well in two high school all star games this month, rose from 300th to 98th.
Running back Jordan Lyle is a 4-star on every recruiting site, but On3 has him ranked significantly higher than the rest at 37th overall, just five spots below the 5-star threshold.
The Hurricanes have the 5th ranked class in the country according to On3, 4th according to 247Sports, and 5th according to Rivals. On every service, the Hurricanes have the top class in the ACC and in the state of Florida.
