"I've just been grinding and listening to the coaches and players," said true freshman edge rusher Rueben Bain.

I caught up with the former Miami Central standout on the eve of the first day of Miami Hurricanes fall camp.

Bain made an impact in spring football, recording three sacks in the Canes spring game.

I asked Rueben how much he has learned from his Hall of Fame defensive line coach, Jason Taylor.

"I learned a lot (from Taylor)," Bain said, "just on getting to the college level and it being a different game... same game, but different languages. In high school I was taught pretty well, so it's nothing too drastic."

Bain described Lance Guidry's scheme as "savvy."

"We're always moving and it fits my playing style. It's something that's going to help me boost my game, improve, and show people why I'm Rueben Bain."
