Heading into the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this past week, Miami stars Will Mallory and Tyrique Stevenson were looking to put on a show for the scouts to rise up draft boards. However, it's hard to imagine anyone saw Mallory putting on the display he did.

Mallory showed off his wheels during the 40-yard dash, clocking in at 4.54 seconds and finishing first amongst tight ends. Mallory was not someone known for his speed at during his time in Coral Gables, but appears to have put a lot of work into that aspect of the game since the end of this season.

Not only were Hurricane fans shocked, but social media pages all across Twitter shared Mallory's stunning performance, including video of his second attempt at the 40:

Additionally, Mallory tested well throughout the other physical tests at his position group, finishing third in the vertical leap and topping 20 reps on the bench.

In terms of his athleticism ranking, he finished with the fifth highest at his position according to nfl.com.

Based off his senior bowl performance, the combine and projections, Mallory might be able to push himself into an early Day 3 pick.

Mallory will have another opportunity to impress scouts at Miami's Pro Day, which has yet to be set.

Nevertheless, Mallory put on for the Canes at the combine as he continues through this draft process.
