Tyler Van Dyke Injury: Game Time Decision?
As of Thursday, All Hurricanes heard rumors about Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke possibly missing the Clemson game. If that came to fruition, that meant true freshman quarterback Emory Williams would get the starting nod for the Canes.
As time moved forward, everything we heard reinforced the notion that Van Dyke was not completely healthy. We chose not to say anything and believe it was the right decision. That being the case, the cat has come out of the bag.
Per Pete Thamel of ESPN, he just released this tweet about what he’s heard regarding Van Dyke:
Everyone here at All Hurricanes have been and continue to be in a all-hands-on-deck situation to find out more about Van Dyke’s injury and whether he’ll play versus Clemson. One way or the other, there will be an update about Van Dyke’s status – via another article – just prior to tonight’s 8:00 p.m. kickoff.
