Five-star Defensive Lineman Recaps Miami Visit
The University of Miami hosted nearly 100 elite football players from across the country this past weekend.
A five-star stud defensive lineman from the Yellow State received the red-carpet treatment. Zion Grady is one of the elite players in the 2025 class and is considered a top 25 player overall.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher holds offers from the top football programs including Alabama, Michigan, Auburn, USC, Florida State, Florida, and Georgia to name a few. Grady spoke about his recent visit to Miami and what his plans are. The five-star stud arrived in Miami on Saturday and left on Sunday.
"Man, I loved my visit to Miami," said Grady.
The Enterprise (Ala.) High School standout said this really stood out to him during his visit.
"Just being able to pick Coach (Jason) Taylor's and Coach (Todd) Stroud's brains. Being able to learn about the history and vision of Coach (Mario) Cristobal has to bring that back. The weather and campus are great."
Grady spoke with the Head Coach directly.
"Coach Cristobal talked about the history at Miami and wanting to bring that back. He wants to get the best talent back the best staff and resources to do it. He wants to win bad."
He does plan on taking his five official visits, but will Miami be one of them?
"Miami is definitely getting an official visit. I'll do FSU, UGA, Auburn, Alabama, and a few others."
Five-star stud breaks down his timeline.
"Right now, I'm still early in the process. So I'm still feeling teams out and enjoying the process. I'll take my time and make a (college) decision after my official visits."
Miami hit a home run on this weekend's visit with Grady. He is on everyone's radar and he is worthy of his rating and ranking as being considered a top 25 player overall. This is one recruitment the Hurricanes fans will want to keep an eye on as he starts to take official visits. Look for Miami to be there till the end of Grady's recruitment.
