Four-Star Miami Target Breaks Down His Recruitment

Four-star recruit wants to visit Miami twice

Miami's coaching staff is recruiting hard on the trail in-state and out.

Seminole (Fla.) High School offensive lineman Max Buchanan is a hot commodity in the state of Florida, with the Hurricanes being among several suitors for the 247 composite four-star stud offensive lineman. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound holds offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, and Penn State to name a few of his offers.

He spoke with AllHurricanes on the latest in his recruitment and discussed his future visit plans.

"I'm just getting to know the coaches better," Buchanan stated. "Scheduling official visits and trying to see what schools I'm able to get to during the spring practices."

Spring practices will start this March and go through April. Buchanan spoke about his time when he visited Miami.

"I went to Miami during the last summer for the recruiting pool party. That was my first time there. Then I came down for the Georgia Tech game. Both visits went great. I get along with the Miami coaching staff."

Sunshine State standout mentions three schools, in particular, he wants to visit this spring.

"During the spring, I'm going to be at Central Florida, Florida State, and Miami."

Buchanan also discussed the official visits he is planning to take.

"So far I'm taking official visits to Miami, Clemson, FSU, UCF, Penn State, and Ole Miss."

Seminole High School offensive lineman said these schools he is taking official visits to are the schools that his recruiting him the hardest.

As for when will the four-star offensive lineman make his college decision?

"I'm planning on committing in early August," said Buchanan.

Miami not only get an unofficial visit this spring but an official visit for the summer could be all the Hurricanes need to get his commitment in August.

Coach Alex Mirabal is one of the top recruiters in the country and he makes lasting impressions on recruits.
