Here are the four interviews from today. Below will be key quotes came from each of Miami head coach Mario Cristobal, quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, center Matt Lee and safety Kamren Kinchens, and then followed by each of the full video interviews for each person.

Cristobal discussed how the spring game would be set up situationally.

“Ones versus ones,” Miami’s head coach stated immediately. “Twos and threes will be more mixed up. There will be some guys that are at the two position that deserve reps with the ones, and we will implement that as well.

“You’ll see a mixed bag, but even versus even. In other words, if you’re with the ones, you’re going to be playing against ones. We are not going to have ones versus twos. I know that’s a traditional format around the country.

“We just have a different philosophy. Not right, wrong, indifferent. That’s how we’re going to do it. We want to play good on good. We want to make sure that we’re getting our best versus our best.”

Tyler Van Dyke discussed the Transfer Portal with various questions, and one comment was especially enlightening.

“It definitely is important,” Van Dyke said of gaining talent from the Transfer Portal. “You see your strengths and weaknesses during spring, and try to fill those spots.

“Not even if it’s weak, but depth-wise, you know? We might be short on some depth at some positions, so getting some guys in here would definitely help us.”

As for the man snapping the ball to Van Dyke, Lee actually had a really big compliment to the quarterback with regards to him coming to Miami.

“It was awesome,” Lee said of Van Dyke coming down to Coral Gables while Lee took his UM visit after playing for UCF for four years. “He’s the starting quarterback and he’s on vacation from Connecticut. He’s like, ‘Damn, I’m going to fly down to visit this guy’…three or four hours, however long that flight is.

“It also showed me that Tyler is a mature, he’s a serious, he’s a smart, good dude. You know, that I’d love to have as my quarterback.”

Finally, Kinchens discussed what it’s like to work with defensive coordinator and safeties coach Lance Guidry.

“It’s been great,” said Kinchens of being coached by Guidry. “He brings a lot of energy, and he’s a safeties coach, too, so we kind of get that energy 24-7.

“He’s similar to coach (Jahmile) Addae. He doesn’t let us fall off at one point. He’s always on you.”

The Hurricanes will hold their spring game at 7:30 p.m. ET tomorrow night inside DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
