Q: How did your season go this year?

A: "Overall great first year starting, we were undefeated through 11 games before losing in the playoffs. I was able to work with an amazing group of teammates and coaches, and my personal development was something that was very positive."

Q: What was your favorite game from this year?

A: "My favorite game of the year was when we played and beat one of our crosstown rivals Apopka High School 27-0. I had 4 TDs passing in the 1st half of the game before we took our foot off the gas."

Q: What’s one aspect of your game that you improved on this year?

A: "Extending plays inside and outside the pocket by running."

Q: You were at a couple of Miami games this year, what are your thoughts on the offense after seeing it in person?

A: "I loved the experience attending the Miami game, and feel their offense was very explosive, great tempo, and definitely was impressed overall."

Q: What was your first meeting with Coach Cristobal like?

A: "He seems like a very genuine, down-to-earth coach who also had great energy when I came to visit over the summer."

Q: You’ve gotten to spend some time with Miami OC Shannon Dawson, what’s that relationship like and how do you see yourself fitting into his offense?

A: "Coach Dawson is a really great person, I love his offensive expertise, and just the opportunity to talk football with him. I believe I can win a National Title playing in his offense."

Q: Who are some of the QBs you study and try to learn from?

A: I love watching film on QBs at all levels, high school, college, and the NFL, and this is kind of tough question for me because I really respect and try to take a little bit from several guys, but currently the QBs that I’m watching the most film on are Aaron Rodgers, Caleb Williams, Pat Mahomes.

Q: As a young quarterback how has it been embracing a leadership role at Edgewater?

A: "Leadership is extremely critical and something I’m always working to improve as a QB. This year I was blessed to have a great group of teammates, and real brotherhood on our team so I was able to lead authentically and by example."

Q: Who are some of the guys who helped contribute to your successful sophomore campaign? Coaches and players

A: "I don’t wanna leave anybody out because football is the ultimate team sport and my success is only possible with the help of so many people, but my entire offensive line, wide receivers, running backs, my HC Duke, QB Coach Chappel, personal coaches Baylin and KZ.

"Also, don’t wanna leave out my family especially my Mom, Dad, Sister, and Grandma who always give me 100% support."

Q: When looking at a potential school what are some of the key things you’re looking for?

A: "Coaching, team culture, fan support, players/coach relationship, campus, and game day experience, and definitely want to be able to play at the Power 5 level."
