BREAKING: Michigan Basketball Loses Young Player To Transfer Portal

Michigan basketball has done well picking up players from the portal, but today a young Wolverine has decided he'll check out the transfer scene.
In this story:

It's already been a busy Monday for Michigan athletics when it comes to the transfer portal as two football players announced that they'll be moving on. Now, a young basketball player is also in the portal.

Former four-star recruit Gregg Glenn has decided after just one season that he'll explore his options in the portal.

Glenn, a 6-7, 230-pound power forward, played in just four games as a true freshman and recorded only six points and six rebounds. Even during the season, Glenn mentioned being pretty homesick, so the news of him transferring isn't exactly shocking.

With Glenn departing, Michigan now has 11 players on scholarship for the upcoming season — seven returning from last year, incoming freshman George Washington III and three arriving transfers in Caleb Love from North Carolina, Nimari Burnett from Alabama and Tray Jackson from Seton Hall. That means that U-M has two open roster spots right now with basketball season about eight months away.
