Fitting.

Michigan's basketball season is officially over, over now after crumbling late against Vanderbilt.

The game was over. Michigan was moving on. The Wolverines were up eight with 1:01 remaining and absolutely fell apart down the stretch committing three awful turnovers allowing Vanderbilt to close on a 9-0 run to win the game. We saw Juwan Howard's squad struggle to close out games all season and today was the worst example of it yet. Howard is now 1-13 in one-possession games, which is a mark that cannot be ignored at this point. Throw in the fact that a seemingly healthy Jett Howard and Kobe Bufkin chose to sit out part or all of the NIT Tournament, and the last couple of weeks have not been good for Michigan basketball. Howard spoke with the media after the game if you care to hear what he had to say.
