Video: Juwan Howard Explains Why Team Crumbled In Second Half Against Appalachian State

Michigan let a 30-point lead turn into just a four-point lead in the season opener against Appalachian State but did manage to notch an eight-point win in Juwan Howard's first game.

Michigan head basketball coach Juwan Howard no doubt feels good about being 1-0 but he would feel a lot better had his team not squandered a 30-point lead in the second half. Michigan obviously didn't lose the lead entirely, but after being up by so much only to win by eight, some things obviously went wrong in the second half.

Howard touched on why he thinks the meltdown happened and explained how his team's mentality needs to change whenever they have a big lead like that.

What differences did you see between the first and second halves? What needs to be addressed moving forward? Comment below!!!
