Former Michigan wideout commits to Big Ten program

Michigan transfer wide receiver Tyler Morris has chosen his next destination, and in a way it almost feels like Michigan effectively executed a trade with Indiana. Michigan received WR Donaven McCulley and Indiana has secured the services of Tyler Morris. The speedy Morris, a former high school teammate of JJ McCarthy, looks to replace McCulley's size with his swift feet and quick cutting ability. The 5-foot-11 180-pound Morris will forever be known for his performance during clutch moments. None bigger than his 38-yard scamper down the sidelines in last year's Rose Bowl win against Alabama. The amazing sideline tight roping play gave a struggling Michigan offense a 13-10 lead in a game they would eventually win.

Morris completed the 2024 campaign with 23 catches, 248 yards and 2 touchdowns. Inconsistencies at the quarterback position throughout the year played a factor in his statistics being lower than what he surely expected from himself. Morris heads to Bloomington with two years of eligibility left.
