Mel Pearson Has Great Message For Ronnie Bell, Michigan Fans
An avoid football fan, Michigan hockey coach Mel Pearson had a positive message of support for U-M sophomore wide receiver Ronnie Bell on Tuesday's radio appearance on "Inside the Huddle."
Bell dropped the game-tying touchdown pass late in the Wolverines' 28-21 defeat at Penn State, with televisions cameras catching him on the sideline with tears running down his cheeks. His teammates immediately tried to comfort him and in the past 72 hours, he's become a source of inspiration to Michigan.
During his weekly radio appearance on Ann Arbor's "Inside the Huddle with Michael Spath" Pearson, who has experienced tough losses as a coach, put into perspective what Bell has meant to U-M and why everyone should have his back.
