Aidan Hutchinson Models New Detroit Lions Helmet
Whenever it's time for a team to unveil a new uniform, a new helmet or a new color scheme, they typically do so with their star player. That's exactly what the Detroit Lions did with Aidan Hutchinson as they broke out an alternate helmet that will be worn by No. 97 and the rest of the Motor City Kitties this fall.
As Hutchinson shows off the new lid, the Lions website explains why the design came to life.
• Symbolizing the future, is a shell cover never before worn in the NFL.
• The helmet will only be worn with the team's all-gray uniform.
• Designed to celebrate the Lions 90th season.
• A classic logo pays tribute to the Club's heritage.
• Matte facemask in Lions signature Detroit gray.
There's a lot to like about the helmet, and Hutchinson certainly seemed impressed, as did other Lions, during the unveil. Whether you like the look or not, Hutchinson is going to be making plays in it, which is an idea that all Michigan/Lions fans can get behind.
